James Corden to donate Brits fee to Comic Relief

James Corden is to donate his £50,000 fee for hosting the Brit awards to Comic Relief.

The Gavin and Stacey star thanked the thousads of fans who tweeted him, saying “Thanks for your kind messages about giving my Brits fee to comic relief. It felt the right thing to do. I’m glad you agree x x x”

Corden is said to be a huge music fan, and will be returning to hosting the Brits after hosting it with Matthew Horne and Kylie Minogue in 2009, and was apparently delight to be asked to host the music awards again.

This years Brit Awards ceremony will take place at the O2 Arena in London, and will be on ITV1 from 8pm.
